Families will receive a $100 discount (per child) if the re-enrollment fees are paid on or before 2/28/2013.
There is a cap of $300 for families with three or more students if the re-enrollment fees are paid on or before
2/28/2013. There is a cap of $600 for families with three or more if the re-enrollment fees are paid after 2/28/13. Reenrollment fees are to reserve spaces for returning students and are non-refundable.
Tuition has been divided into equal monthly payments for your convenience. Payments are due on the 1 st of the month and
are considered past due if not paid by the 15 th of the month.
For your convenience, the Business Office has incorporated the curriculum fees, science lab fees (middle and high
school), yearbook fees and technology fees into the total tuition. This allows you to spread the fees over the course of
the year. The tuition fee does not include textbooks for dual-enrollment classes, high school testing fees or athletic
fees. If you have any questions regarding this, our Business Office personnel will be happy to help you.
Early Payment Discount: If a student’s tuition for the 2013-2014 school year is paid in full by June 1, 2013, a 5%
discount will be given. If the tuition for the 2013-2014 school year is paid by July 31, 2013, a 3% discount will be given.

Family Discounts: The following discounts apply to parents with two or more full-time students living in the same
household. Discounts do not apply to part-time students.

Pastoral Discount:
A Pastoral Discount is available to Senior Pastors. Details for this discount are available in the Business Office.
Referral Credit:
A tuition credit of $500 will be given to a family that refers a new family who enrolls at least one full-time child in
Greenwood Christian School. A tuition credit of $300 will be given to a family that refers a new family who enrolls at least
one part-time student in GCS. The referral must be documented on the new student application and the student must
attend GCS for a full year. Referral credits are limited to one per family per year. Complete details are available in the
Business Office.

Tuition Assistance: Limited tuition assistance is available. Students must be fully enrolled before applying for
tuition assistance. Please contact the Business Office for application information. Tuition assistance is based on
income and a copy of your completed 2012 tax return will be required.
EXPLANATION OF FEES:
Enrollment Fee: New students must pay a $250 one-time non-refundable enrollment fee. This fee covers the
administrative cost of testing the student and processing the application. This is only refundable if GCS cannot place the
student in a class.
Other Fees: For certain courses, students may incur additional expenses not covered by tuition and fees listed above.
Textbooks for dual-enrollment classes are not included in the curriculum fee. These books must be purchased by the
students.
Child Care Fees: Parents with students in Half -Day K3, K4 and K5 may utilize the Child Care Program. Fees are $3.00
per hour for each child with a maximum charge of $200 per month and the fees are payable on a monthly basis. In order to
comply with government regulations, the child cannot stay more than 4 hours per day in this program. The available
hours for this program are 11:20 AM – 3:00 PM.
After School Care Fees: Greenwood Christian School now partners with the Greenwood YMCA in offering an After
School program for our students. Please call the Greenwood YMCA for current prices and details on the program.
Bonus Bucks: The Bonus Bucks program is a major fundraiser for Greenwood Christian School that we encourage each
family to participate in. Gift certificates are purchased from businesses in Greenwood and surrounding areas at a
discounted price and are sold to our families and friends at face value. (This means that the purchaser of a gift certificate
receives one dollar buying power for every dollar purchased.) Vendors participating in the program include grocery stores,
restaurants, clothing stores, and others. Funds generated through this program are used to bridge the gap between what
tuition pays for and the actual cost to educate each child. Families participating in the Bonus Bucks program have the
opportunity to earn credit toward their tuition. We hope that each family will participate in this important program. Details
are available in the Business Office.
