Students will about the techniques in football. They will also learn the objectives, rules, regulations and policies of football. In the second semester the course explores the theories, practices and strategies involved in coaching the game of football. Students will also work on individual skills, organization and management practices, pertaining to public schools football programs. They will gain the skills necessary to teach football. They will also be presented with the history of football. PREREQUISITES Basic knowledge of human anatomy. Knowledge of games used in physical education. TIME AND ECTS workshop, 20 hours in the 1st semester and 20 hours in the 2nd semester CREDIT POINTS 4 ECTS (2,2) By the completion of this course: LEARNING OUTCOMES KNOWLEDGE: 1. [K_W01] the student knows the specific terms and terminology referring to exercises used in football training and to football technique. 2. [K_W06] the student knows football teaching methods, the techniques of performing basic exercises in football and the forms and principles of teaching movement in football. 3. [K_W07] the student knows how to prepare a proper football class. 4. [K_W14] the student knows the laws of the game and football refereeing principles.
