Our Theological Convictions We are Christians – we believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the ruler of the universe, and a Savior for sinners. Everything that exists and all that takes place does do for the glory of Jesus. We are Evangelicals – we believe that the Bible is the Word of God and that it has authority over our lives. We believe that the central message of the Bible is the gospel – the message of how sinners can have peace with God through Jesus. We are Calvinists – we believe that salvation is all of grace and that the glory belongs completely to God. We are Baptists – we believe that local churches are to be made up of genuine believers who have been born again by the Spirit of God and who have publicly professed their faith through a conscious participation in the ordinance of baptism. We hold to the 5 Solas of the Protestant Reformation: Sola Scriptura – Scripture Alone Justin Nale has served as Pastor of MHMBC since 2003. He and his wife Crystal have two sons. Sola Christos – Christ Alone Sola Gratia – Grace Alone Sola Fide – Faith Alone Soli Deo Gloria! – Glory to God Alone!
