30th May KYORUGI & POOMSAE ACCREDITATIONS 2015 Canberra, ACT OTU (Kyorugi &Poomsae) Coach / Referee / Judges Seminar Application Form (Kyorugi & Poomsae) Coach / Referee Seminars New in 2015! Oceania Taekwondo Union (Entry Level 1) Coach Accreditations now available to all 2015 members via OTU Kyorugi-Poomsae Referee Seminars. In November 2014 a historic agreement was signed by all five (5) WTF Continental Unions (CUs) which means that Coaching Accreditation in one region is now recognised in all other regions. This means that accreditations issued by the Oceania Taekwondo Union (OTU) are recognised in every other country worldwide. In 2015 the OTU will make available and roll out coach / referee accreditation for both Poomsae and Sparring members of the OTU Member National Associations (MNAs). From January 2015 it is mandatory for a coach to have this accreditation to coach at any WTF / CU sanctioned tournament (G1-G20) in the World. E.g: US Open, Dutch Open, German Open, Spanish Open, Australian Open, etc. The OTU is committed to the professional development of its members. The continued professional development (CPD) of our officials and coaches is critical to developing our region’s athletes and staging first class events. It is also essential that all MNA officials are appropriately trained and educated, and opportunities to refresh and update are made available at the highest levels. It is noted that not all officials will have a need to officiate at these sanctioned international events, but the OTU accreditation courses are not designed just for people who want to officiate internationally. The courses and training are available to everyone, and is aimed for beginner members to the most advanced in accreditations. The added advantage here, is that when you complete these courses, you have the added benefit of knowing that you have just been educated via up to date rules, and the accreditation that you attain is internationally recognised. We look forward to seeing as many participants as possible at the upcoming courses. STACT invites all STA members (must be financial 2015) to participate at either the OTU Kyorugi - Poomsae Coach / Referee Accreditation Seminar, Saturday 30th May. Please bring proof of any previous accreditation. Details and cost as per information below. 2 Who should attend this seminar?
