The counseling program is dedicated to: *empowering children and parents *developing skills and relationships *providing opportunities for growth • The counselor meets with classes regularly providing presentations on: *motivation to achieve *career choices *decision making *problem solving *interpersonal effectiveness *communication skills • *responsible behavior The counselor offers group counseling on various topics such as: *Divorce *grief *anger *friendships-getting along with peers *other groups available as needed *The counselor offers individual counseling based on referrals from parents, teachers, and of course, the children themselves.
