Real estate agent brochure (tri-fold, A4)

Hello and welcome back to both
children and parents.
This half term our topic is ‘What’s
in store?’, which we are sure will be
great fun! We will be learning all
about all the different kinds of
shops in our local area, and will be
carrying out a survey in the square.
Our science topic is ‘Teeth and
eating’, so we will be learning about
different kinds of teeth and also
healthy foods.
Next half term, (Summer 1) our
topic is ‘Nature detectives’ This
topic we will learn all about different
kinds of plants in the environment.
PE
PE will be on Monday’s and
Wednesday’s. Please ensure all
children bring their P.E kits and all
earrings are taken out.
Welcome back
Reading books
Can you spend a little time each night
practising your child’s book. These sessions
should not be too long. Encourage your child
to read fluently rather than word for word.
You could question your child about what they
have just read, or what a particular character
is like. You could discuss personal likes or
dislikes with respect to the book.
Spelling tests
Every Friday your child will receive some
new spellings. These will be tested on the
following Friday morning. Please make sure
your child practices these.
Teacher’s notes:
As you may be aware we are
approaching the summer holidays and
we will soon be carrying out end of Key
stage one assessments. We try to
ensure that these assessments become
part of a normal school day, so the
children are not stressed. The children
are already used to regular, so please
carry on as normal because changes
can upset your child. If you have any
worries please contact us and we will
do our best to help you.
