Re: Ski Trip – February 2018
As part of our commitment to providing extra-curricular activities and following the success of our most recent trip
to Austria, we are pleased to offer the opportunity of Skiing and Snowboarding in February 2018.
This is a combined trip for The Stanway School and The Thomas Lord Audley School. The destination will be Austria
which has a huge ski resort offering a wide variety of ski runs for all abilities. The cost of the trip will be £960 for
Skiing or £990 for snowboarding, to be paid in manageable instalments. A payment plan will be sent to you once a
place has been secured on the trip.
Departure date: Friday 9th February 2018. Return date: 17th February 2018.
The price includes:







Luxury coach travel to and from the resort
6 nights full board accommodation
24 hours of ski/snowboard tuition
Ski/snowboard, boots, pole hire and helmets
Fully comprehensive travel insurance
Evening activities
Hooded ski sweatshirt
This is an excellent opportunity to learn to ski with friends at a competitive price on the slopes of Austria and is
open to current students in the two schools.
Places are limited and should the interest be more than the places available, to ensure fairness, names will be
drawn at random to fill the available spaces. Please complete and return the attached reply slip to Student Services
by Friday 10th February.
A non-refundable deposit of £200 will be requested for successful students, which must be paid via ParentPay by
Friday 3rd March. In the event your child not being successful they will be placed on a reserve list.
Prices are based on a minimum of 42 full paying passengers, per single deck coach. Supplements may be applicable
should the group fall below the minimum level of full paying passengers.
In order to participate in this educational visit EACH STUDENT MUST PRODUCE:
a) Their own passport. You should check that the passport is current and will not expire before the end of
the trip.
b) An EHIC (European Health Insurance Card). You should check that the card is current and will not expire
