Students will enter the class and
will sit around the basketball
key, some will enter the locker
room and change first but then
they will join the class around
the key while attendance is being
taken

Warm-up Instruction
 Students will be informed that
they will be playing avalanche
tag.

Student will remain seated for
the rules of avalanche tag
5 students will be selected to be
taggers for avalanche tag.

Avalanche Tag
 5 taggers will be selected. 4
taggers are the avalanche one is
the doctor. Students will roll a
yoga ball around the class and
attempt to roll a ball into a
classmate. If tagged students will
sit down and wait for the tagger
with the yellow ball to come
“free” them and they will reenter
the game.
Transition to key
 Students will put the equipment
away and take a seat at the key

throughout the gym to play
avalanche tag
