Year 11 Celebration Function

Bridgnorth Endowed School is holding a function to celebrate the end of the current Year 11’s exams. It will be
held at, Park House Hotel Shifnal on Thursday 23rd June 2016. Pupils should aim to arrive at the venue for
7.00pm for a 7.30pm start. The event will finish at 11.00pm.
Tickets for this will cost £26.00 and are available from Student Services. This money will cover the cost of the DJ,
the function room, hot buffet, photo booth and candy cart. There will also be a photographer there, and photos
will be available to purchase afterwards at approximately £10.00 per person. You are also allowed to bring your
own cameras.
If you wish to attend, then the money along with the slip below, signed by your parent/ guardian, needs to be
returned to the finance Office by Friday 3rd March as we have already paid a deposit for the function. Cheques
should be made payable to Bridgnorth Endowed School. You will then receive a ticket once the full amount is
paid, which must be brought along to the function. Any Vivo’s that you have not redeemed may be used in part
payment. Transportation needs to be arranged by individuals.
The dress code will be smart. That means dresses or trouser suits for girls and shirts (ties and dinner jackets
optional) for boys.
All Y11s are welcome but must comply with the following in order to attend:
 School attendance must be maintained at 98% between the dates of 11th April- 20th June
 Pupils must attend all examinations
 Pupils must follow the school’s code of conduct
Pupils should be aware that the consumption of alcohol before or during the event will not be tolerated and if you
appear to have consumed alcohol before the event you will not be allowed to join the function. Moreover, the
code of conduct for the school will stay in place strictly up to and including the last day of school. If any pupil
violates this and goes against the behaviour policy, their right to attend the celebration function will be taken
from them and they will not be allowed to attend.
Please refer to the attached information letter regarding the purchase of hoodies and year book.
Finally, we hope you will take this opportunity to celebrate the past 5 years with your peers in this all-inclusive
celebratory function.
