SPORTS FACILITIES AVAILABLE IN CHANDIGARH
The Sports Department, Chandigarh Administration and Chandigarh Sports Council
offer the Sports Facilities for Coaching and training purposes in Chandigarh. The Coaching and
training in all the sports disciplines is imparted by the sports coaches of the Department / Council.
The Department also allows the use of its stadia / grounds to conduct competitions / coaching camps
of State/ National / International levels against charges. There are full time Managers/ Supervisors
for the maintenance and smooth functioning of the Stadiums.

TERMS & CONDITION FOR THE BOOKING CHARGES SHALL BE
ASUNDER:1. The reservation can be cancelled at any time by the department with or without any notice at
its discretion.
2. The organizer shall be liable to pay for the damage as may be caused in any way during the
utilization by them.
3. The booking is non-transferable/adjustable/refundable.
4. The Security as prescribed against each Centre is required to be deposited with the cashier of
this office.
5. The organizer shall pay the Daily Allowance (Minimum D.C Rate) to the employees those
who beyond the duty hour will be engage by them during the gazetted holidays/ second
Saturday/ all Sunday etc.

6. The confirmation of the booking for the said date will be subject to deposit of the booking
amount in advance with the cashier of sports Department Sports complex Sector-42,
Chandigarh.
7. Student: He or She who submits the bonafied certificate from the institution.
 The boys and girls studying in any Govt./Private Educational institution.
8.Non-Student:
He or She who produces /submits current certificate of State/National
position.

The concerned Coach will verify current position (State/National) on the
enrolment form.
9. Tentage Measuring 15x60 for seating and 15x15 for refreshment/tea/snacks will only be
allowed.
10. Prior permission from the competent authority is required before installation of high pitch
sound system.
11. The U.T., Sports Association or any other Recognised Association can organised any
tournament(League, Memorial, Champion Ship, Cup (Etc)
12.
In case of any U.T Association one day booking for cricket match (Friendly ) the booking
charges would be Rs. 10000/- .
13. The Booking charges are non-refundable.
14. The Marking of Ground/ Courts etc, including the material shall be the responsibility of the
Organizer/ Association
15. Any violation or indiscipline caused of any kind during tournament will tentaments to
forfeiture of
security money and no booking of stadia for said Association will be
allowed in
future.
16. The use of Tobacco and alcoholic products are strictly prohibited in sports stadia/ centres.
17. Booking of flood light Matches of Cricket Stadium Sector-16, Chandigarh shall be on Gen
Set Charges as fixed by the Engineering Department, U.T., Chandigarh.
