To Display Computer Image (PowerPoint) Via The Mounted Projector
 Power on desktop computer
 Log into the computer using the username/password that you would use to log into your office PC,
allowing 3-5 seconds for your network drives to load.
 Power on projector with the Epson remote control – you will hear a short beep
 Locate the labeled, source switcher mounted above the DVD/VCR player – press the option labeled
“Desktop”
 Wait 1-2 seconds for your image to appear
 Adjust to your desired volume using the Volume Knob located on the right side of the source switcher
To View DVD or VHS Media Via The Mounted Projector
 Power on the DVD/VCR player using the Samsung remote control
 With that same remote, select whether you will be playing a DVD or VHS Cassette by pressing the
respective button located at the top of the remote.
 Insert either a DVD or VHS Cassette
 Power on projector with the Epson remote control –you will hear a short beep
 Locate the source switcher mounted above the DVD/VCR player – press the option labeled “DVD”
 Locate the Epson remote control – press “Source Search”
 Wait 1-2 seconds for your image to appear
 Press play using the Samsung remote control
 Adjust to your desired volume using the Volume knob located on the right side of the source switcher
To Display Laptop Image (PowerPoint) Via Mounted The Mounted Projector
 Plug the black VGA cable (located at the top of the cart) into your laptop’s
VGA port (usually blue); also plug in the smaller sound cable into your
laptop’s headphone port

 Power on laptop computer
 Log in using normal username/password
 Power on projector with the Epson remote control – you will hear a short beep
 Locate the labeled, source switcher mounted above the DVD/VCR player – press the option labeled
“Laptop”
 Wait 1-2 seconds for your image to appear (if no image appears, your laptop may not be configured for
presentation viewing. Locate the key combination to allow your image to be projected
on the screen. (Usually blue function key in bottom left hand corner of keyboard
simultaneously pressed with the correct function key at the top of your keyboard.)
 Adjust to your desired volume using the Volume Knob located on the right side of the
source switcher

What To Do At The End Of Class?
 Power down the projector by pressing power twice, consecutively on the Epson remote control
 Confirm that you are logged off of the PC
 Turn off the lights
Troubleshooting Tips
 No Video On The Projector – Make sure the proper source is selected on the switcher and that the
projector is powered on
 No Sound Is Heard – Check the audio level on the Volume knob located on the switcher. Next make
sure the PC is not muted.
 No Response From The Remote Control – Change the batteries for the respective remote control
