The solution
The Travelport Smartpoint solution is an easy-to-download, point-andclick tool that enhances the Galileo Desktop application for the Travelport
Galileo and Travelport Apollo system users. The tool translates the
complex languages of every GDS, reducing keystrokes for the overall
booking process by up to 15 percent and up to 72 percent in ‘best fare’
searches. Travelport Smartpoint also offers desktop customization
options such as preferred colors, fonts, window size and layout.
Immediate productivity for new agents
Vicki’s offices were seeing results in a very short amount of time.
“Travelport Smartpoint is giving new agents with minimal experience the
confidence they need to be productive immediately,” Vicki said.
She was especially impressed with the format translator, the ability
to view outbound and return air segments at the same time and the
