students from select academic institutions to showcase their
skills and talent while exposing these students to risk-based
advisory services.
R.I.S.E. – Risks, Issues, Solutions & Experiences
The Deloitte R.I.S.E. Advisory Case Competition gives participants
experience in providing risk-based advisory services to clients. In
today’s ever-changing world, our clients face difficult situations on a
daily basis that expose their company to risk. In order to best decide
how to deal with risk, our teams collaborate and develop the best
solution for the situation at hand.
We are looking for great talent to join Deloitte Advisory. Through the
Deloitte R.I.S.E. Advisory Case Competition, students will be
exposed to Deloitte Advisory’s risk-based advisory services.
Students will be given an opportunity to experience a real-world
problem while using their skills and creativity to collaborate and
provide a solution. Deloitte Advisory seeks the brightest talent to join
our team!

Case Competition
Targeted Participants
The Deloitte R.I.S.E. Advisory Case Competition Committee is
targeting participants of Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior status with
a preferred minimum GPA of 3.2. All majors are welcome to compete.
Space for the competition is limited to 20 students per campus!

registration form and must be agreed to in order to participate.

We are looking for great talent to join Deloitte Advisory to help us
continue to be the largest professional services firm in the world.
Deloitte Advisory provides risk-based advisory services to our
clients who are facing crucial challenges on a day-to-day basis.
The Deloitte R.I.S.E. Advisory Case Competition is a way for star
campus recruits to continue to hone their skills and build upon
their understanding of these risk-based advisory services.
Students have the opportunity to engage their creativity and
skillsets in a problem-solving capacity and compete their way to
present against top talent from around the country at Deloitte
University.

Participating Campuses
How to R.I.S.E. …
Analyze the risks
The Deloitte R.I.S.E. Advisory Case Competition
provides students an opportunity to work as a team
to develop a proposal to deliver risk-based advisory
services to a client in need. The highlight of this
competition is a live, in-person event in which
finalists from each campus present their
solution to a panel of judges at Deloitte
University in Westlake, Texas. Students will have
the opportunity to present to, and meet with,
leaders from Deloitte’s Advisory practice. The
Deloitte R.I.S.E. Advisory Case Competition
winners will be announced after the presentations
at Deloitte University, and will be competing for the
chance to win up to $2,000 each in cash prizes!
• You will be assigned to a team of students with whom you will
work together to develop a proposal to deliver risk-based
advisory services to a client in need
• You will be responsible to read, analyze, and identify the risks
that the case presents

• Your team will develop your solution to the problem that the case
presents
• You will be given the freedom to utilize your skills and creativity
to develop the best possible solution to the case
• Your team will be assigned a Deloitte “advisor” who you will be
able to leverage for guidance and answering questions
Present your solution
• Each team applies logic, creativity, and problem-solving skills to
the real-world challenge while showcasing presentation skills to a
panel of Deloitte leaders
• The Deloitte leaders will judge each team’s presentation, and
one team per campus will be declared the winner
• Winning teams from each campus will receive an all-expenses
paid trip to Deloitte University to present their ideas against
other top talent from across the country
• One true R.I.S.E. champion will be crowned at the end the
national competition
