Hidden Fog of War Objective cards are
played face-down until the player achieves
the scoring conditions.
FOG OF WAR MISSION
REVEAL
Fog of War Objective cards marked Reveal
are played face-up. The scoring conditions on
these cards can sometimes be completed by
either player.
The Fog of War Objectives deck allows you to
play missions with objectives that vary from
game to game, and even during the game.
They can be used two ways: with a shared
deck, or with constructed decks.
PERSISTENT
Persistent Fog of War Objective cards are not
removed when Victory Points are scored.
SHARED DECK
Shuffle all the Fog of War Objective cards as
a single deck. Both players will draw from
this deck.

CONSTRUCTED DECKS
Each players constructs their own Fog of
War Objective deck of ten cards. Shuffle
each deck at the beginning of the game. Each
player will draw from their own deck.
SET UP
Players follow the setup instructions for the
Free For All or Dust Up mission in the rule
book, but do not place any Objectives.
WINNING THE GAME
At the start of the game, agree on the Fog
of War Victory Points total that a player will
need to win the game. Choosing 4 to 6 points
will be result in a quick game, while choosing
10 or more points will create a long game.
We suggest using 8 points for your first
few games.
A player wins if they either score the agreed
number of Fog of War Victory Points, or if
their opponent has no Formations left (due
to failed Formation Last Stand).
DRAWING FOG OF WAR
OBJECTIVES
At the start of each player’s turn, the player
draws three Fog of War Objective cards,
chooses one to play and places the other
two on the bottom of the deck. If the player
already has three Fog of War Objective cards
in play, they do not draw more Fog of War
Objective cards until some of the ones in play
have been completed.
SCORING VICTORY POINTS
When a player achieves the conditions listed
on a Fog of War Objective card, they score
the indicated Fog of War Victory Points and
the Fog of War Objective card is removed
from the game.
CAPTURING FOG OF WAR
OBJECTIVES
Fog of War Objectives are Held in the same
way as regular Objectives (see page 102 of the
rulebook).
