Summer Schedule
We will be working on a lighter schedule over the summer with
activity-based meetings, with devotional time included. I am still in the
planning process for a few of these, so I will hand out a detailed schedule
later. However, I wanted to get information out to you about the June 19
trip to a Phillies game in Philadelphia (so I can order tickets) and a
schedule of the other meetings, so that you can mark your calendars now.
Trust me, you don’t want to miss these meetings!!!!!
Starting on May 6, we will follow this schedule.
If there is a Wednesday not on this schedule, we do not meet.

One aspect of being a part of a family of believers is to spend time together,
in community fellowship. As a way to do this, we will be traveling to
Philadelphia on June 19 to see a baseball game. Because this is a pretty big
trip for Grades 3-6, I am requiring at least one adult per family to make the
trip with us. You can bring your whole family if you’d like, or just one
parent. If there isn’t a parent in the picture, let me know and we will find
cleared children’s volunteers in the church who would like to go and be a
“big buddy” chaperone for your child that day.

6:00 Arrival at Citizen’s Bank Park
7:05 Game Time!!!!
9:30 approx. game end
1:00 AM approx. return to CBC
Cost: $18/person
We need at least 25 people in order to get this special pricing. Families are
welcome to drive separately, if they wish, but the church bus is scheduled.
You are welcome, and encouraged, to bring along a friend, but they will be
under the supervision of your parent. My hope is that this will be a good
opportunity to get to introduce some other people from your school,
neighborhood, etc. to our preteen youth group. Please try to think of at
least on person that you’d like to invite to preteens and see if your parents
are okay with them coming along for this trip.
We will do permission slips for everyone later, but for now, I need to
know how many tickets to buy ASAP. Please email/text/call me by
Wednesday, May 6 with a total number of tickets needed and if you plan
to ride the bus or drive separately. I will be purchasing tickets on
Thursday, May 7.
