Profile Utility Once you have the program loaded on the computer. We strongly recommend you test the program prior to April 24th. Before running this program, please make sure your Galileo Desktop is configured to use standard keyboard mode. This can be found under Galileo TCP/IP in the control panel. You will need to edit your connection then change the Keyboard mode to Standard Windows. You will first need to configure your settings for the profile change. 1) Click on Configure Once the preferences screen appears, you will be able to choose how you would like the profile line entered. 2) Check Modify Secure Flight Entries if you would like the date of birth line changed a. Under Change To Line Type choose what entry you would like the SSRDOCS format to be preceded with b. Under Preface Data with type in text you would like to follow the line type. This is an optional field. If you choose the SSR line type, you will want to leave this box empty c. Set move indicator for the profile line to a Yes, No, or Optional Move(For testing prior to April 24th, you will need to set the move indicator to No) Example: If you would like the line to be added to the profile like this 22Y/[]:3SSRDOCSYYHK1/N1/////23MAY77/F//SMITH/JANE/ANN Below is a screen shot of what the screen should look like 3) Check Modify Other DOCS Entries if you would like the DOCS passport line changed also. a. Under Change To Line Type choose what entry you would like the SSRDOCS format to be preceded with b. Under Preface Data with type in text you would like to follow the line type. This is an optional field. If you choose the SSR line type, you will want to leave this box empty c. Set move indicator for the profile line to a Yes, No, or Optional Move(For testing prior to April 24th, you will need to set the move indicator to No) Example: If you would like the line to be added to the profile like this 22O/[]:3SSRDOCSYYHK1/N1/P/US/123456/US/23MAY77/F/23OCT15/SMITH/JANE/ANN Below is a screen shot of what the screen should look like 4) Click Save 5) Once the program, shows the screen saved click OK You are now ready to test the profile program. 1) 2) 3) 4) Open Focalpoint Sign in If applicable, emulate into the pseudo where you are testing the profile changes Open Profile Utility 5) 6) 7) 8) 9) 10) Make sure under configuration, the move indicator is set to No Check Pause Between Profiles Check Single Bar and enter the bar name you are testing with in all Caps Enter the pseudo city in all caps Click Modify Choose where to save the log of the profile changes 11) Click OK 12) The profiles will start to be modified. The program will pause after making each profile change to allow you to double check the profile was changed properly. 13) Once you have verified the profile was changed properly you can choose one of the options on the prompt. a. Continue Pausing will allow you to check more profiles after they have been modified b. Process Profiles Non Stop will change the rest of the profiles without pausing c. Abort Run will stop the program and not change the rest of the profiles 14) If the profiles were not changed successfully or if you see errors, please email the both profile logs created to [email protected] Now that you have tested the profile changes successfully you are ready for April 24th. Follow the below instructions to make changes to your profiles on or after April 24th. 1) 2) 3) 4) Open Focalpoint Sign in If applicable, emulate into the first pseudo for the profiles changes Open Profile Utility 5) Click configuration and make sure the move indicators are set correctly 6) Check Pause Between Profiles(if you would like to check the first few profiles changed otherwise leave unchecked) 7) Enter the pseudo city in all caps 8) Click Modify 9) Choose where to save the log of the profile changes 10) Click OK 11) The profiles will start to be modified. 12) If you choose Pause between Profiles, the program will pause after making each profile change to allow you to double check the profile was changed properly. a. Once you have verified the profile was changed properly you can choose one of the options on the prompt. i. Continue Pausing will allow you to check more profiles after they have been modified ii. Process Profiles Non Stop will change the rest of the profiles without pausing iii. Abort Run will stop the program and not change the rest of the profiles 13) Once the program has finished working successfully, you can move on to the next pseudo that needs to be changed. Important Notes While the profile utility is working, do not touch Focalpoint. In our testing, we have found the profile utility works on average two profiles per second. If you are running the program multiple times on the same computer the log file is overwritten each time the program runs. We recommend you save the log file in a separate folder each time the program is run. Any third party applications that interface with Apollo like booking builder or flight integrator are turned off. Make sure profile masking is turned off. Undo Button The undo button revert the profiles back to the original format. If you need to revert your changes, follow the below steps. 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) 7) 8) 9) Open Focalpoint Sign in If applicable, emulate into the pseudo where the profiles need to changed Open Profile Utility Enter the pseudo city in all caps Click Undo Find and Choose the log file for the changes Click Open Once all the changes have been reverted, you will receive a message
