APPENDIX RULES FOR THE
FIS FREESTYLE SKI AND SNOWBOARD WORLD CUP
FIS SUPER SERIES

DEFINITION OF BIG AIR (BA) SUPER SERIES
The BA SUPER SERIES is a special of three (3) World Cup competitions for
Ladies and Men (Milano, Mönchengladbach and Quebec for season
2016/2017). Each single competition follows the Rules for the FIS Freestyle Ski
and FIS Snowboard World Cup and the following regulations.

FIS SUPER SERIES STANDINGS
The BA Super Series TOUR STANDINGS shall be used in the BA Super Series
to determine the overall winner, both female and male for both the Freestyle Ski
and the Snowboard Super Series. Each competitor’s BA Super Series
Standings will be determined by the sum of their accumulated WC Points from
all competitions of the BA Super Series indicated in point 1.(See FS and SB WC
rule point 11).
TIES
3.1 Ties for the Freestyle Skiing BA Super Series overall winner will
be broken according to the WC Rules 11.4 (Freestyle Ski World Cup
Rules). A total of points from all Super Series competitions will be made.
The competitors with the highest total will win the tie. If still tied, the
competitor with the greatest number of highest places is the winner. If still
tied, the competitors stay tied.
3.2 Ties for the Snowboard BA Super Series overall winner will be
broken as per rule 12.1.1 (Snowboard World Cup Rules): The highest total
of the best event decides - if still tied, the number of first rankings, if still
tied the number of second rankings, etc. decides.

SPECIAL TROPHIES AND PRIZES:
Special Prize – male and female overall winner of the BA Super Series
OVERALL WINNER The highest-ranked competitor from the BA Super Series Tour Standings at the
end of the FIS BA Super Series will be the winner. A trophy will be made
available by FIS whereas, additional prize money can be awarded by the
Organizer.
