Paul originally from Leicester. Club founded 1916 , 13 th club in UK and 330rd
world wide Meeting in pub under clock tower near where is father supervised
traffic. In 1919 they set up injured shoulders hostel that eventually turend into
school Paul attended. The club donated a wood to area. Paul Harris visited in
1933. They are keen on golf. The Meet 12 pm on Mondays.
They donated 25 000 pounds to set up first bone bank and have jsut donated a
further 100 000 pounds to the bone bank. The currently have over 80 members.

Thanked Rotarians and partners who helped at Kadina show whilst he was away. Bill
and Jane Price donated pastries for Saturday. Profit was over $850 up from $400
last year. However year before when outside made $1400
Fundraiser Saturday arranged by Knights’ of Southern Cross is aid of Moonta
Hospital. Tickets $20. Entertainment Sasse.

Val for Port Adelaide hapless performance. Not excused by other Port Adelaide

Michael Gregg arrive 830 for 7 shift ( Doctors Time) blamed bike for slow ride,
apparently doesn’t go as fast as it did 20 years ago.
Andrew Woolford tends to loose mobile phone often. Most recently got police to
look for it and was actually found in his van.
Jane for tackling Ali Baba magic carpet whilst hung over with Phoebe Oswald
Tall Paul was rotary rep at apex hand over. Was seen up dancing ( therefore Ipso
de facto must have been drunk)
Crows supporters glady paid for winning again.
Mayor Paul Introduced Guest Speaker
Mary Deakin is cooperate services manager for council. She came from Berri. She
is very dogged when collecting debts. Mary chooses not to lounge around on beachs
locally. Last year she went to Cambodia, this year walked the Kokoda trail .
Why does she go?
Mary said the reall question should be “why not”.
Kokoda trail was first used in 1890 for gold exploration
2001 70 walkers, in 2009 had grown to 4000 walking
6 died on track walking so far. Oldest walker 83. Record time is 16 hours, however
it took her 9 days. Trail is 96 km long and very step up and donw. You need good
preparation and self discipline.
Port Moresby dangerous city, Lots of have and have nots.

Get up 5am and start walking at sunrise till 4 to 5 About 6 hours per day Locals
