ASSUMPTION OF RISK. By signing this form, the player acknowledges and agrees
that football is a body contact sport in which physical injury may occur from time to
time, that he/she is none the less willing to play Australian Football for the Club, and
he/she takes upon themselves the risk of injury (both physical and legal) arising out
of or in training for and participating in the game of Australian Football in the EDFL.
PRIVACY STATEMENT:
The primary purpose of the EDFL is to manage and control football competitions
involving affiliated Clubs and the EDFL requires the information in this application
form for this primary purpose and other purposes set out in the EDFL Statement of
Purposes (www.essendondfl.com.au) and will use and retain this information
including disclosing this information to governing bodies of other football
competitions for those purposes.
The EDFL will take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information from
