your debit card
details
This guide explains how to update your replacement card 16 digit card number
if it’s used to make regular payments.

To help you, we’ve included some examples below. Please note, not all companies operate in the same way.
PayPal
To update your card payment details:
1. Go to www.paypal.co.uk and log in to your account.
2. Click on ‘Wallet’ at the top of the screen.
3. To add the replacement card details click ‘Add a card’ box at the bottom of the screen.

4. Complete all required fields and click ‘Save’.
5. To remove the ‘old’ card, click on the ‘old’ card to be removed from the ‘Wallet’ screen.

Apple iTunes
Use your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
1. Tap Settings > iTunes & App Store.
2. Tap your Apple ID, then tap View Apple ID. You might need to sign in.
3. Tap Payment Information. If you’re using Family Sharing, only your family organiser can update the payment
information.
4. Change or remove your information.
5. Tap Done.

Amazon
To update your payment method:
1. Log onto Amazon and go to Your Account.
2. To add the replacement card details click Add a Payment Card.
3. Complete all required fields.
4. To delete the old card details, click Manage Payment Options.
5. Find the Card Payment details you wish to delete and click Delete.

Note: The Edit facility will only allow you to edit Expiry date and Cardholder Name, not Card Number.

Follow the on-screen instructions.
Note: Updating a payment method in Your Account will not change the payment method on any open orders. If you need
to change the payment method on an order that has not entered the shipping process to Change Order Information on
the Amazon site.

Online supermarkets shopping
Sainsbury’s
The safest and easiest way to change your account details is via the My Account section of the
Sainsbury’s website. Here you can update your payment cards.
Waitrose
1. Simply Sign in to www.waitrose.com via a computer or tablet
2. Click My account.
3. Click Payment details and billing
4. Enter your new card details and click Save. If you have a pending order, then you will need to
update your details before 11.45am the day before your delivery is due.
Asda
1. Log into your Asda account
2. Click on Your Account
3. Select Account Settings
4. Edit the details in the payment card section.
Tesco
1. Log into your Tesco account
2. Click on Manage my Payment Details
3. Select Add a Payment Card
4. Enter your new card details and click Save.
Morrisons
There are two ways to add a card to your account:
1. Go to your Account Settings and select the ‘Stored payment details’ box. Click on the ‘Add new
card’ button and enter your card details.
2. You can also add a new card at Step 5 of the checkout. Simply click on the ‘Add a credit or debit
card’ link and enter your card details in the box provided. Then, when you move on to Step 6, you
can store the details for future use.
