This promotion, first shown to members at the AGM this week, is a joint initiative between the Club, Quest and SLFC. The video is on the home page of our website, and also available on YouTube. We encourage all members to take two minutes to watch the new video and we would like you to share it with your friends via social media to help promote our fantastic club. SANCTUARY LAKES TEAM WINS WOMEN'S HOLDEN SCRAMBLE NATIONAL FINAL Congratulations to the Sanctuary Lakes team of Dianne Hills, Violetta Jakielaszek, Fiona Watson, Stephanie Robinson and their Pro Carl Smedley on winning the Holden Scramble final last weekend at Twin Waters on the Sunshine Coast. Unfortunately due to inclement weather the event had to be reduced from 54 to 36 holes, but our girls had returned the best net 36 hole score of 108.4 to win by 6 shots from the team from The Vines W.A. CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE Congratulations to the leading gross score players after 36 holes, with one round to go. Kath Griffith on 160 leads in the Ladies Championship by a whopping 17 shots and barring a calamity looks certain to go back to back after her win last year. Travis Sharpe is attempting to win his 3rd Championship in 4 years and leads the Men's Open grade on 150 by 3 shots from Rob Marlais and with a further 2 shots back to Nathan Kungl. In A Grade Peter Anderton leads on 167, Geoff Ballard leads B Grade on 176 and Jude D'Cruz leads C Grade on 196. JUNIOR PENNANT TEAMS WIN AGAIN Last Sunday our Junior Pennant teams were again in action and once again both teams won their matches. The "Stewie Gray" team won 3.5 matches to 2.5 against Riverside away to remain top of their league. The "Allan Smith" team scored another terrific 6 to 0 win, this time against Northern at home. This weekend the teams have a week off and their final matches are on Sunday 1 December. The "Stewie Gray" team plays Kew at Kew and the "Allan Smith" team plays top of the table Green Acres at home. Both teams need a win to make the finals so it should make for an exciting Sunday (week). DOGS ON COURSE There have been some complaints recently regarding dogs being "off the lease" on the golf course running amok and also some players walking their dog while also playing golf. Members are reminded that dogs may be walked on the course between 7pm and 7am - providing they are kept on a lead at all times, kept off greens and tees, and "doggy bags" are used to clean up. Members may either play golf, or walk their dog, but not both at the same time.
