Why Prevention of Substance Abuse?
2007 Prevalence Statistic
 33.3% of Hoosiers (1.7 million) age 12 and older currently use tobacco
 50% of Hoosiers (2.5 million) age 12 and older currently drink alcohol, 22% (1.1
million) engage in binge drinking
 19% of Indiana high school students currently use marijuana
