TICK-BOXES)
1. Information on how to enter forms part of these terms and conditions.
2. Entry is only open to residents of Australia aged 18 years and over. Employees of the
Promoter and their immediate families and retailers within Settlement City Shopping Centre
and the retailers’ employees and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. Promotion

commences at 8am on Saturday 4 February 2017and entries close at 12:00PM (mid-day)

on Monday 13 February 2017 (Promotion Period). The winner will be announced 4pm
Monday 13 February 2017.
3. To enter and be eligible for the prize, you must:
a) Using the entry form, tell us in 25 words or less “What is the single most
romantic thing your valentine has done for you”;
b) Put your full name, postcode, phone number and email address on the entry
form; and
c) Submit your entry into the barrel near Centre Court within the Promotion
Period.
4. Only one entry per person will be accepted.

The winning entries will win:


1st prize:1x$100 Settlement City Gift Card to be spent at Settlement City, and 1
x $100 Bras N Things Gift card to be spent in store at Bras N Things Settlement
City.

2 prize (Runner up): 1x$100 Settlement City Gift Card to be spent at
Settlement City.
The total value of the prize pool is $300.00.
6. The winners will be notified via phone and email by Friday 13 February 2017. The results will
be published in Port News, Friday 24 February 2017. Winner[s] must claim their prizes by
visiting Centre Management Office on any week day (being Monday – Friday) between 9am
and 4pm.
7. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be
individually judged based on creative merit. Judges decision is final and no correspondence
will be entered into.
8. At the time of collecting the prize the winner will be required to confirm their identity by
producing such photo identification as may be directed by the Promoter.
9. The prize(s) is/are not redeemable for cash and cannot be transferred or exchanged.
10. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify rights which
you may have under any law (including the Australian Consumer Law (“ACL”), and consumer
guarantees relating to goods or services under the ACL) which may not be excluded,
restricted or modified by agreement (‘Your Consumer Rights’). Subject to Your Consumer
Rights, the Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage however caused (including by
negligence), suffered or incurred in connection with the Promotion or the prize. Any condition
or warranty which would be implied by law into these terms and conditions is excluded.
11. Lendlease is the Promoter and supplier of Settlement City Gift Cards terms and conditions
can be found on the website at http://www.settlementcity.com/valentinesDay2017/. Bras N
Things Settlement City is the supplier of the Bras N Things Gift Voucher prize to the winner,
and the terms and conditions of Bras N Things apply to the supply of the prize if applicable
can be checked instore with Bras N Things Settlement City.
12. The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered or associated with Facebook
13. Any prizes that have not been claimed by the Winner by Monday 10 May 2017 will be
awarded to the next best eligible entry as determined by the judges. From the day of
notification the alternative Winner has 14 days to claim their prize or another alternative
Winner will be selected.
14. All entries become the property of the Promoter. As detailed in the privacy statement which
accompanies these terms and conditions, all entries will be entered in to a database and the
entrants’ names and addresses may be used for future promotional, marketing and publicity
purposes.
15. All prizes are accepted entirely at the risk of the winner, and the Promoter excludes all
warranties in connection with any prize to the extent permitted by law. The Promoter reserves
the right to substitute any prize with a prize of equal or greater value (including where the
prize is unavailable) for whatever reason, subject to approval of the gaming authorities in
each State and Territory where required. The prize and/or any element of the prize must be
taken as stated and cannot be varied by the winner. No compensation will be payable if the
winner is unable to use their prize and/or any element of the prize as stated.
16. By entering into the Promotion you accept all conditions of entry including these terms and
conditions.
17. Liability and release: The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever
which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any
personal injury, loss or damage suffered or sustained (even caused by negligence) in
connection with accepting or using a prize or participating in this Promotion, except for any
liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter is not responsible for defective
prizes, lost or stolen prizes or misuse of any prize. All entrants release from, and indemnify
the Promoter against, all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any
prize(s) or participation in this Promotion including (but not limited to) personal injury and
damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent
act or omission or otherwise.

research or with information on any products or services you may be interested in at
Settlement City Shopping Centre. This may be by any means of communication including
telephone and electronic messages (e.g. email). If the information requested is not provided,
you may not enter the Promotion.
From time to time this information may be used by and disclosed to our service providers (such
as mail houses, delivery companies, market research) or our related companies. The use and
disclosure of this information will be subject to the restrictions imposed on us by the Privacy Act
