OBJECTIVES

To extend maximum contribution for ensuring sound development
of the Cooperative Movement in accordance with established
principles of Cooperation.

To promote economic and social well-being of weaker section
societies.

To form and register the cooperative societies for their economic
upliftment under the Telangana State Cooperative Societies Act,
1964 (TSCS Act) or the Telangana State Mutually Aided Cooperative
Societies Act, 1995 (TSMACS Act).
Cooperative set-up at the District
Level

The statutory head of the Cooperative Department at District level is
the Collector (Cooperation).

An officer in the cadre of Joint Registrar is working as District
Cooperative Officer in Nalgonda District.

An officer in the cadre of Deputy Registrar is working as Audit
Officer in the District.

There are (7) Clusters in the District headed by Asst. Registrar for
each cluster they are : 1) Nalgonda 2) Munugode 3) Nakrekal
4) Miryalaguda 5) Anumula 6) Devarakonda 7) K.Mallepally.

3. Elections:
> Conduct of Elections to the Managing Committees Cooperative societies under

> One Departmental Officer in the cadre of Deputy Registrar

the options to be filed the Bank and conduct enquiry and issue 71
certificates for recovery of dues from defaulted loanees.

As per government instructions the (33) PACS + (1) DCMS.
Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies in the District are
doing Paddy Procurement Business under MSP for Khariff &
Rabi Seasons. The Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies
are rendering services to the farmers at their satisfaction.
