Race Entry Details
To participate in the Welsh Alpine Championships, British competitors
must be registered with their Home Nation Governing Body (Snowsport
Wales, England, Scotland or Northern Ireland) for the 2017 season.
All competitors must have a current insurance policy that permits them
to participate in organised ski racing. The race committee may ask for
proof of insurance.
The organising committee reserves the right to refuse entry from skiers
who do not demonstrate a minimum level of competence. Entries from
competitors with no prior race experience should be supported with a
coach’s letter of recommendation.

Competitors, coaches and team managers should familiarize
themselves with the most recent competition rules including updates
concerning helmets and equipment regulations. These can be found at

Training & Training Pistes
The days prior to the Championships training pistes will be made
available to clubs in the resort. Team managers should consult with
the race secretary to advise of their clubs requirements.

DOPING CONTROL Performers
I give my permission for Doping Tests to be taken and agree to be
bound by the regulations concerning Doping Control.
PHOTOGRAPHY
There will usually be an Official Photographer present at our events.
Photographs taken at this event could be used for the purpose of
publicity and promotion of our sport. As part of Snowsport
Cymru/Wales’ Child Protection policy and Best Practice guidelines, if
you do not wish your image to be used please sign the Opt Out forms
available at the Race Office at this event.
It should be noted that whilst Snowsport Cymru/Wales has no
jurisdiction over members of the public taking photos we would
challenge anyone who causes concern.
I hereby give my permission for my photo to be used for the
purpose of publicity and promotion of skiing events.
