Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Leadership (ADECL)
The ADECL is designed to prepare Senior Pre-school Teachers for the role of centre leadership.
Eligibility Criteria:
a) Be ECDA-certified as a Level 2 pre-school teacher
b) Have completed an ECDA-recognised diploma in early childhood care and education1
c) Have met the competency level for Senior Pre-school Teacher (with reference to the Skills
Map2)
d) Have completed the pre-requisite core course(s) as identified and offered by ECDA3
All nominators are to ensure that the completed Official ADECL Nomination Form (saved as a word
document), together with the documentary evidence and compulsory additional documents, are
submitted to ECDA via email at [email protected] by 18 Nov 2016, 5pm.
Late and incomplete submissions, or submission in hardcopy will not be accepted.

The list of ECDA-recognised diplomas in early childhood care and education will be determined by ECDA, and will be subjected to review
