Code of Conduct for Players
. I will familiarize myself with Howzat rules and play by these rules.
. I will not argue with, or criticize an officials decision. If I am unhappy with an
incident or decision I will speak to my team captain or manager during the break
or after the game.
. I will not use bad language at any time.
. I will control my temper. I understand that verbal abuse of officials and sledging
other players and deliberately distracting or provoking an opponent is not
permitted behaviour.
. I will play within the spirit of the game and be a good sport.
. I will treat all players as I like to be treated.
. I will cooperate with my coach, teammates and opponents.
. I will participate for my own enjoyment and benefit.
. I will respect the rights, dignity and worth of all participants regardless of their
gender, ability, cultural background or religion.
. I will support all efforts to remove verbal/physical abuse from Howzat.
. I will not AT ANYTIME approach an official, opposition player or opposition
coach in a hostile manner before, during or after a game.
Howzat would like to make it clear that any breach of the Code of Conduct will
not be tolerated and will result in disciplinary action being taken against
individuals/teams.
