SUMMER BASEBALL CAMP
Monday, June 19th through Friday, June 23rd 10:00-1:00pm

This camp is designed to help players, ages 10 - 13, learn the necessary skills to take their
game to the next level. The skills being taught include hitting, fielding, pitching, throwing, catching and
base running. Over the course of five days, campers will build on skills learned in previous sessions,
culminating in a game on beautiful Owls Field on Friday, June 23rd. Each session is specifically designed
and structured to help build the fundamentals and confidence of the individual player. This is a unique
opportunity to get the most attention and instruction out of any clinic in the area, so don’t wait. This
camp is limited to the first 60 campers.
CAMP FEATURES
Six simultaneous groups that rotate throughout the day with instruction on the following:
- Hitting: proper mechanics, tee work, soft toss, live BP, bunting
- Pitching: mechanics, balanced delivery, finish, long toss, grips (fastball & changeup)
- Base running: proper approaches and technique (no sliding)
- Infield: mechanics, approach, glove work, receiving & throwing
- Outfield: mechanics (ground ball & fly ball), tracking, crow hop, throwing
- Catching: Instruction on blocking, receiving and throwing
DATES, TIME AND LOCATION
Monday, June 19th , 2017 – Registration begins at 9:00am
10:00am to 1:00pm at OWLS Field Ted Palk Park – West Lawn, PA
The camp will run Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of that week
AGES
The camp is open to players between the ages of 10-13 (camp limited to first 60 players)
COST
The camp will cost $250.00 per player for the week. Checks can be made payable to
Zachary Williams – 2825 Sturbridge Ct. Sinking Spring, Pa 19608. If using Paypal, remit
payment to [email protected].
In the event of inclement weather, appropriate refunds will be made on a prorated basis.

EQUIPMENT
Each player is responsible for dressing appropriately, which includes: baseball pants or
shorts, hat, spikes AND sneakers (Indoor facility will be used during the camp). Players
should come to the camp with their own bat and glove. Catchers are to bring their own
catchers gear. We will have a few extra bats for the players to use but each player is
encouraged to bring their own bat.

WAIVER, RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT
Player Name: ____________________________ (the “Player”)
The undersigned person, as the parent or legal guardian of Player, does on behalf of his/herself, his/her heirs, executors,
administrators and assigns, to the full extent permitted by law, agree to defend, indemnify and save harmless Owls Sports
Club, a Pennsylvania non-profit corporation, any and all of its coaches, directors, officers, members, volunteers,
employees, contractors and representatives (collectively, “OSC”), from and against, but not limited to, any suit, claim,
cost, expense, damage, loss, or liability of any kind or nature whatsoever (including attorneys' fees), foreseen or
unforeseen, known or unknown, patent or latent, which he/she may now have or may hereinafter have against OSC,
caused by, arising out of, resulting from, or occurring in connection with, but not limited to, participating in, practicing or
playing baseball for any OSC baseball activity, whether or not caused in part by the active or passive negligence or other
fault of OSC or any other party indemnified hereunder.
The undersigned acknowledges that execution of this Waiver, Release and Hold Harmless Agreement is a condition of,
and in consideration for the entry to the playing/practice facilities and participation in OSC baseball activity. The
undersigned acknowledges that OCS makes no warranty (express or implied), nor guarantee about the safety of the field,
equipment or activity of playing baseball. The undersigned expressly acknowledges, understands and agrees that
baseball is a physical sport and that participating in the sport of baseball may result in damage to personal property and/or
injury or death to the Player. The undersigned further acknowledges and understands that OSC makes no warranty
(express or implied) nor guarantee whatsoever about the safety of the Player.
The undersigned further represents that they have adequate insurance in place to cover the cost of any injury or damage
to person or property sustained by Player or any other person or entity while playing/practicing baseball and that they
understand that OSC have relied upon this representation as a condition to, and in consideration for entry to the
playing/practicing facilities and participation in any OSC baseball activity.
It is the express intention of the undersigned to hereby release OSC of any and all liability, responsibility and\or obligation
for any and all injuries, damages, losses and\or death, to the Player resulting from any accident, incident, or other
occurrence against OSC.
Furthermore, the undersigned acknowledges and understands the significance and
consequence of such specific intention to release all claims, and hereby assume all responsibility for all injuries, damages,
losses, or death that may occur as a result of Player’s participation in any OSC baseball play activity
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, AND INTENDING TO BE LEGALLY BOUND HEREBY, I, the undersigned
acknowledged that I have carefully read, understand and agree to the terms and conditions of this Waiver, Release and
Hold Harmless Agreement, and that I am signing this document voluntarily, of my own free will, absent any coercion.
