About the League
The Greater Cleveland High School Hockey League (GCHSHL) promotes pure, wholesome, amateur
hockey among its member schools.
The league was established in 1970.
The GCHSHL regulates, supervises and administers interscholastic hockey competition among its
member schools so that the interscholastic program is an integral factor in the total educational program
of the schools.
League Structure

upon skill level:


Each league is divided into 2 divisions:

Blue North: 7 teams

White North: 6 teams

Red North: 6 teams

Blue South: 7 teams

White South: 6 teams

Red South: 6 teams
Each team will play other teams within their division twice.
Regular Season Play

Cleveland Heights Tigers captured the 2016 Baron Cup II
championship and have moved up to the Red South
division.
The transition will be tough for the team. However, with
the speed and scoring ability of a few of our returning
players, Cleveland Heights can compete in this division.
Trent Swain has the ability to play at any level and also
gives the team a good opportunity to not only compete for
our division title but also for a Baron Cup I championship.
