PLAYING CONDITIONS








30 over per side
3:45pm start – approx. 7:35pm finish.
First innings should be completed by 5:35pm.
10 minutes’ change in between innings
Second innings should start by 5:45pm
Maximum 6 overs per bowler
No Ball  If delivery bounces twice or more before the batting crease.
 Any ball that goes above the batsmen’s waist on the full.
 Any ball that is bounced higher than the batsmen’s head.
 LBW’s  Are played in High School Cricket always.
 If in doubt refer to the HBCA Local Playing Conditions.
 Wide’s As a guide, any ball that pitches outside leg stump and passes down the legside shall be called a wide. If
the ball pitches on the stumps and passes down legside then it isn’t a wide (eg. Off spin bowler turning
the ball down leg side). As a guide on the off side any ball passing the batsman outside 75% of the return
crease shall be called a wide.
Junior Year 9/10







20 overs per side

Second innings should start by 5:25pm
Maximum of 4 overs per bowler per innings
No Ball  If delivery bounces twice or more before the batting crease.
 Any ball that goes above the batsmen’s waist on the full.
 Any ball that is bounced higher than the batsmen’s head.
 LBW’s  Are played in High School Cricket always.
