This Bulletin consists of 1 numbered pages plus an updated Entry List.
1. Driving Behaviour: Driving Standards Observers/Judges of Fact have been appointed to observe driving
standards on the road sections of the event. They will report to the Clerk of the Course any driving at
excessive speed, or erratically, or in a manner likely to alarm spectators (this includes any “tyrewarming”). The following are appointed Driving Standards Observers and Judges of Fact for these
purposes: David Cogan and Ken Hailstone.
2. Judges of Fact: The following are named as Judges of Fact:
a. For split and merge junctions: John Bobyk, John Davie, Richard Smith, John Richardson,
b. For having a wheel rim touching the tarmac at the stage stop line: Nigel Turton.
3. Classification as a Finisher: Regulation R 40.1 as amended by the June Motor Sports Council Meeting
is “To be classified as a finisher, a Competitor must report to all controls listed in the Road Book except
as provided for in 32.2 (a) where two-thirds of the stages must have been completed and report to the
final control within the maximum lateness specified, with the car in which they started.” For the purposes
of this regulation we shall round any fractions down, so we shall take two-thirds of 8 stages to be 5
stages.
4. Vital Equipment Refuelling and route to stage arrival: The route to stage arrival is amended from that
shown on the stage maps. Juniors should go directly from the first stage to the second stage of each pair
of stages.
