The evening will begin with a sparkling drinks reception in the stunning Glaziers Hall River Room,
offering magnificent views over the Thames. You will then move through to the Banqueting Hall where
the wine tasting will commence. Three panellists will deliver a different description of each wine as it is
being tasted. At the end of every round, your table, working as a team, will have to vote for which of
the panellists you think is describing the true identity of the wine. After challenging your palate to
recognise eight fine wines, accompanied by a sumptuous cheese supper of artisan British cheeses and
a delicious selection of breads and fruit, the winning table will be awarded a prize.
There will be a charity auction and raffle to close the evening, giving you the opportunity to win some
exclusive prizes!

The Red Cross is a symbol of hope and protection to millions of people responding to the needs of
vulnerable people at the most difficult of times. This could be a personal crisis - such as returning
home from a UK hospital without having the support of family or friends - or it could be the effects of
a natural disaster affecting thousands of people, such as an earthquake or floods.
In London alone, 2,000 skilled volunteers deliver vital support and services to local communities. By
providing transport, mobility aids and support, our UK staff and volunteers assist over 400,000 people
a year, helping them get on with their lives. That’s more than 1,150 people per day.
The British Red Cross Society, incorporated by Royal Charter 1908,
is a charity registered in England and Wales (220949) and Scotland (SC037738).
