OVERCOME FINANCIAL BARRIERS to SCHOOL SUCCESS
• Free school materials, uniforms, & hot lunches
• Incentives to low-income families for early enrollment, attendance, &
parent involvement.
ENFORCE EDUCATION & CHILDREN’S RIGHTS LEGISLATION
• By law all children are required to attend 10 years of school, but many poor
children start late & drop out after 4-5 years.
IMPLEMENT EDUCATION REFORM MEASURES
• Teacher training,
• Compulsory kindergarten,
• Nationwide summer school preparation programs for disadvantaged
children.
CREATE PUBLIC AWARENESS “Scoala te face mare”
• Media campaign to get poor children in school at an early age –
when it really makes a difference.
