• In a time of crisis in a student’s home country, a consulate or embassy in the U.S. can sometimes help
with contacting family members, and provide up-to-date information on a situation in a region
Student Nationality Organizations

Student organizations can offer moral support in a time of distress, and often organize community
outreach to affected populations in a time of crisis
