Release build Name McAfee Agent Version 5.0.5.739 Package date – May 18, 2017 Supported McAfee Products For a list of supported McAfee products, see McAfee Knowledge Base article KB88502. 1 Resolved issues The Hotfix resolves these issues. Internal Tracking Reference: 1188538 1189199 When McAfee Agent Backwards Compatibility Service starts up automatically (rather by being "manually" started by the McAfee Agent Service) the McAfee Agent Status Monitor was showing a red bar with "Agent Service is now stopped" even though the service is running. This Hotfix shows the correct bar color and wording even if the compatibility service starts automatically. 1189201 When a computer had 10 or more IP addresses, MA was sending empty values for IP Address, MAC Address, and DNS Name properties. This caused IP address to appear in ePO console as all zeros (0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0). This limit has been reset to 100 IP addresses in this Hotfix. 1189202 VSE console AutoUpdate Repository List showed multi-byte repository name with garbled characters. This Hotfix corrects this issue. 1176544 VSE On Demand Scan with the run missed task option was running at unscheduled times. Now this task runs as scheduled. 1189543 Scheduled Mirror task was failing with MA 5.0.4.470, when only McAfeeHttp repository was available. This Hotfix resolves this issue. 1156555 Scheduled tasks were getting not invoked, despite configuration. Now they are getting invoked. 1191304 Copyright information for MA was shown as McAfee Inc. Now it’s changed appropriately to McAfee LLC. 1192946 Amcore Dat download fails, if machine is in bad state. This Hotfix resolves this issue. 1191704 McTray was loading unsigned third party dll. Now McTray does not loads unsigned dll. Installation information For information about installing or upgrading McAfee Agent, see McAfee Agent 5.0.3 Product Guide: PD26439. This hotfix can be installed on any supported OS. See Knowledgebase article KB51573 for information on supported operating systems. Important We do not support the automatic upgrade of a pre-release software version.
