KINGS SEASON 6 TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES
Tournament Guidelines
Tournament Format:
1. 30-team tournament: 5 brackets*
a. Elimination round: Single round-robin; each team will play against all of its five (5) opponents
in their respective bracket once in the elimination round. Preferred slots will be selected upon
payment on a first pay first serve basis.
b. The top 3 teams of each bracket will advance to the next round + 1 wildcard overall
a. Rank 1-5 will be determined via 1st seed of each bracket
b. Rank 6-15 will be determined via standings, followed by quotient of all 2 nd and 3rd seeds
c. Rank 16 will be determined via quotient from all games of all 4th seeds
c. Round-of-16 (knockout) – Rank 1 vs Rank 16, Rank 2 vs Rank 14, etc.
d. Quarter-finals (knockout), Semi-finals (knockout)
e. Best-of-three finals series, which will be played once a week.
Tournament Date:
1. October 1 – December 10, 2016, every Saturdays and/or Sundays, between 9:00am-8:00pm

Player Eligibility:
1. No current professional, semi-professional, and collegiate basketball players (Team B included).
2. No former professional basketball players (PBA, MBA).
3. Only a maximum of two (2) players classified as 6FT/Var will be allowed, which includes:
a. 6’0 players and above. (6’6 and above will be subject to screening)
b. Former collegiate players (Team B included) provided his last playing year was at least 3
years ago, and no semi-professional league experience (D-League, FBA, PCBL, etc.).
i. Players with semi-professional league experience but inactive for at least 6 years
may be allowed to play but will be subject to screening.
c. Paid-to-Play players.
4. Players will be measured prior to the start of the first game using KOTC’s measuring process.
5. The committee has the right to allow/deny players classified as 6FT/VAR, depending on the team’s
strength or tournament’s level of competition, even if the tournament is ongoing. These players,
therefore, will be subject to screening.
6. Any inaccurate information placed below will strictly be subject to forfeiture of the games and/or
commissioner’s penalty where the players with incorrect information were fielded.
Tournament Fee:
1. Twenty-Five Thousand Pesos (Php 25,000.00), inclusive of a refundable deposit amount of Three
Thousand Pesos (Php 3,000.00) in case team defaults and/or technical/unsportsmanlike fouls are
incurred during the season.
2. Billing statement will be provided upon request. Official receipt will be issued upon full payment.
*Tournament format may change based on the number of teams joining.

Registration Form
Reminder: Only a maximum of two (2) players classified as 6FT/Var will be allowed. Please ensure that all
information placed below is true and accurate. A team may register and field a maximum of 20 players per
game. However, a player who misses all of his elimination games will not be allowed to play in the Playoffs
onwards, even if he is registered.

Registration Procedure
A. All teams are required to submit the following documents no later than September 10, 2016.
a. Accomplished registration form (in word/excel format) complete with details.
b. Proof of payment worth Twenty-Four Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (Php 25,000.00). For
installments, contact 0917-8507227 (James Gregorio). A minimum of Ten Thousand
pesos (Php 10,000.00) may be settled to secure a slot (non-refundable)
c. Government-issued ID or proof of identification of all players
d. Accomplished and signed waiver form.
