Description:
The Stinger “Sure Drop” Ball Launcher is designed to remotely launch balls into multi stage horizontal fracturing systems.
Specifications:
1. Single stack tube.
2. Ball sizes from 0.750” (19mm) to 4.750” (120mm).
3. Ball increments of either 1/16” (.750 to 2.766),
1/8” (.750 to 4.750) or 1/4”.
4. Standard load stack of 26 balls
5. Multiple feed-back sensors ensuring ball launch was complete.
6. Meets Class 1, Div. 2 CSA electrical explosion proof rating.
7. 103.5 MPa (15,000 psi) working pressure.
8. All electrical components rated for temperature range of -450 C to 750 C

1. Adaptable to any configuration of wellhead.
2. Computer generated Job Detail Report, showing ball size
time dropped.

Wellhead Isolation Specialists
Installation and Removal
1. Stinger personnel, representative from Frac systems company and customer representative will record and load balls into
the tube.
2. Stinger personnel, with crane unit, will install Stinger “Sure Drop” Ball Launcher on top of Frac Head and/or Buffalo Head.
3. Hydraulics, electrical and computer connected.
4. Ready for Frac.
5. Stinger personnel will drop balls via computer when instructed to do so.
6. Post treatment Job Detail Report provided to customer.
