Packages
Sunshine Coast Phoenix are proud to announce the signing of a 2 year deal with SUNCO Motors as the
Principal Partner for our Junior Representative Teams competing in the BQJBC Competition. Now is your
chance to be part of the most exciting junior sporting opportunity available on the Sunshine Coast!
Differentiate your business from the rest by supporting the newly created Sunshine Coast Phoenix, one of
the biggest basketball sporting associations in Queensland. Sunshine Coast Basketball Association has
been established as the principal association on the coast including the incorporation of three long
standing clubs – Noosa Cyclones, Maroochydore Clippers and Caloundra Heat.
Being a non-profit Senior and Junior sporting club means that all facets of operating the “Phoenix” is
orchestrated and run primarily by the parents of our over 1300 players as volunteers.
We are aware of the economic environment in which we all operate and have taken time to develop
sponsorship packages that offer real value for money. We trust that through this proposal we demonstrate
the potential benefits a partnership with our club, its members and supporters has to offer.

Sunshine Coast Basketball Association Limited
Sunshine Coast Phoenix
The Sunshine Coast Basketball Association was officially created and affiliated with
Basketball Queensland on February 17, 2015. This is the result of years of consultation
between the existing associations on the Sunshine Coast. The outcome is a federation of
the Noosa Cyclones, the Suncoast Clippers and the Caloundra Heat under the new entity,
the Sunshine Coast Basketball Association (SCBA).
The purpose of the federation is primarily to improve the standard of basketball on the
Sunshine Coast. The existing associations will continue to operate, becoming affiliated
associations or clubs under the Sunshine Coast Basketball Association banner. All members
from these clubs will be registered under SCBA, with playing membership numbers over
1300, putting us in the top 5 Associations in Queensland.

WHAT DOES YOUR SPONSORSHIP MEAN?
SCBA is a non-profit organisation that has no support from a licensed club and therefore relies heavily on
the support of local businesses, parents and fundraising for the much needed resources to continue to
exist and grow into the future.
We endeavour to provide pathways and opportunities for all children to become active and learn
important life skills about teamwork, leadership and discipline. We are also developing a bursary to assist
special needs children to get involved in sport.
All junior funding is directly invested back into the following areas
 BQJBC representative teams
 Coaching and First Aid Officer training and development
 Referee development
 Basketball Academy Program
 New equipment
 Financial assistance to junior players and their families
BENEFITS TO YOU
The benefits and exposure to you as a sponsor with SCBA are:
 Involvement in the community
 Confidence that your sponsorship can make a difference
 Sponsorship that is tax effective
 Knowing your sponsorship is delivering a real community benefit
EXPOSURE
BQJBC Games are played all through South East Queensland from Gold Coast in the south to Noosa in the
north with state-wide competitions on a regular basis giving your business name exposure to a wide
