• Students from high and professionals schools, public and
private;
• Ages between 15 and 18 years old;
• Teams of two or three pupils;
• At least one of the pupils had to know English.

1 Poster in National Newspaper – World Forest Day (21 of

Forest Landowners Organizations from Forestis Movement

Directorates, agriculture and forest blogspots, etc.;

1st Test – April 20th
Participation of:
• 187 pupils;
• 68 teams;
• 22 schools;
• 10 district.

The average grade was 53,5
points and the most frequent
value was 88 points.
Two teams from Guia Group
School and Lousã High
School had the same high
score – 90 points - so it was
held a run-off test to break
ties.

Run-off Test – May 18th
Teams disputed the post of
national winner team and the
result was an Second Tie,
making this National Stage the
most competitive of the YPEF
Contest.
Due to this special circumstances National Commission
established that the teams had
to make a presentation
promoting Forests in Portugal.
