Supplemental Remarks
The test start date or required test period depends on the format category and reservation status at TC. As for the
availability of TC, please e-mail us the order sheet with necessary information filled.
*It takes around 30 working days to perform the test.

Order Procedure
*Please use pdf file format when you send us documents by email.
 Please send us order sheet and Form 1 Preliminary Information by email.
 Reservation will be confirmed based on submitted order sheet.
*tentative reservation is not available.
 After reservation, please send Form 1 to Blu-ray Disc Association License Office.
 NDA is required for the first application. TC issues NDA and sends it to you. Please return one copy after
you have signed.
 Test Fee should be paid T/T in advance.
 Please submit the following required documents and test sample to TC by the designated date.

Notices for filling in the order sheet

If you apply more than one model, please submit order sheet per model.

RETEST : Please write “1” in the checkbox of RETEST. Please keep other checkbox
blank.
4. Note for testing

As for the procedure of testing, please refer to “ Testing Information” which you can find at the Licensee
only page.
 All test items are performed regardless of pass or fail.
 Any sample modification and replacement is not allowed once the test is started. Also, applicant can not
witness the test. Applicant is kindly requested not to inquire about progress of the test. In the case of any
problems or failed test items are found, TC would inform applicant immediately.
 When your sample passes the test, TC will report the test result and issue the Confirmation.
 TC is required to report the test result to Blu-ray Disc Association License Office regardless of pass or
fail.
 If your sample fails the test, TC will report the test result only. The Confirmation is not issued. If you would
like to retest, please submit your sample again after improvement by yourself. Retest takes equivalent
time of the first test. In addition, if you would like to take pre-test for failed test items before retest, please
consult us before starting the retest.
 Retest is performed only once for the same model. If your sample fails the retest, you have to apply for
the First Test again.
5. Notice
 All sample transportation fees would be borne by applicant.
 TC keeps your sample which passes the test for three years.
 Retest schedule can be reserved after the First Test.
 If you would like to change the test schedule or cancel it, please inform us at least two weeks prior to
scheduled test starting date. We will charge you the full fee for cancellation of a part or all the test items,
once the test is started.
6. Quotation
As for the format verification of BD-RE/R Recorder, Player, and PC Software, we will quote according to the
contents and functions of the test.
