the design, build, operation, upkeep, and marketing of all-fiber networks. Organized by the Fiber
Broadband Association, the Fiber Connect provides resources for attendees in all phases of all-fiber
deployment: planning, performing, and prime.

Video Submission Guidelines
You are invited you to submit a short video to promote your status as a Fiber Connect exhibitor to
prospective attendees.
What we are looking for: A short, self-recorded video (no more than 2 minutes) highlighting what your
company will be showcasing in the Expo Hall at the 2017 Fiber Connect. You may pose a question,
provide a teaser, or showcase key areas of your exhibition. For example: “Join company at the 2017
Fiber Connect, where we’ll be showcasing our latest products for helping you with new all-fiber
deployments…” Of course, be sure to state your company name and booth number!
How we will use the videos: To promote attendance and engagement at the 2017 Fiber Connect, we
may feature your video on the Fiber Connect website, via social media, and by other means of
appropriate marketing channels. We reserve the right to review, and then accept or reject, all submitted
videos. We also reserve the right to edit your video, as deemed necessary and appropriate.
Submission process: You do not need to use professional videography equipment (however, if you have
access to such equipment, you are welcome to do so). Smartphone and tablet videos are acceptable
(captured via iPhone, iPad, Android, or similar). Ensure that you film in landscape (horizontal) mode.
Avoid “selfie” videos, if possible; instead, place your phone or tablet on a stable object such as your
desk, a heavy book, or a stand. Speak clearly and without background noise and/or music. Utilize a
brightly lit room, preferably without a window behind you. Plain background walls work best. If filming
outdoors, ensure that your words are captured clearly. Don’t film outdoors if windy.
Deadline: Submit your video on or before Friday, April 28.
How to submit: Send via Dropbox or WeTransfer to Bill Braun at [email protected]. Do not
attach directly to an email, as video files are too large to send directly. Please include your company
name on the video file name (ex: FiberBroadbandAssociationVideo.mov,
FiberBroadbandAssociation.wmv, etc.).

Social Media Tips:
 Posts on social networks should generally be kept to fewer than 140 characters, including
hyperlinks, hashtags, and images.
