**Students applying to the HIT Program must have completed the Reading, Writing and math portion of the
placement test and meet cutoff scores for placement in college level MAT and ENG. Students who do not meet
cutoff scores are required to complete all developmental coursework prior to enrolling in any HIT MED or BIO
prefix specific to the HIT Program. Students who place in to one or more developmental or remedial courses are
also required to take ACA 115 Success & Study Skills.
