The ‘CPD gatekeeping template’ is for CPD items only. For other items/non CPD items please complete the
generic ‘Gatekeeping template’ which you can download from www.egfl.org.uk/gatekeeping
Only items that are correct, complete (above template fully completed), timely (ie achievable deadline dates) and
relevant are accepted by the EGfL web team: [email protected].
Why a specific CPD gatekeeping template?
This specific ‘CPD gatekeeping template aims to reduce duplication of information and work and will link direct to
the full event information which is already published on CPD online.
Restricting gatekeeping reminders
Reminders about events will not be published for the same reason as above. However, if you utilise the ‘Action
required/due date’ facility on the template, an automatic reminder will appear at an appropriate time on the
gatekeeping newsletter’s ‘Forthcoming Deadline’ section without you taking further action.
Gatekeeping items published on EGfL
Reminder: your items are made publically available unless we have been explicitly informed by you to secure your
content behind a login.

Ealing supports schools to share their CPD opportunities with other schools by enabling them to promote events
and opportunities via the weekly EGfL gatekeeping communication www.egfl.org.uk/gatekeeping and on the
training management system CPD online www.ealingcpd.org.uk

School Effectiveness

The Ealing teaching school alliances have access to upload their own event information onto CPD online.
We ask schools to check for potential date clashes on both www.ealingcpd.org.uk and on the senior leaders
keydates calendar on www.egfl.org.uk/events prior to setting dates and we may not be able to publish events
which we feel will put pressure on the intended audience or affect negatively something that has already been
planned/scheduled on or around that date.
(We don’t currently charge for these promotional services)
