How Long is the Game? Baseball games can last a long time—2.5 to 4 hours! If the teams are tied at the end of the 9th inning, they go into extra innings. They keep playing until one team wins. Leaving the Game 1 If I leave the game, I cannot come back in. After the game, the ballpark is very crowded with everyone leaving at the same time. I need to stay with my group so I do not get lost! My family might want to leave the game early to avoid some of the crowd. Leaving the Game 2 It will be loud when I leave the game. Some people might push and shove and bump into me. I will walk to my car or to public transportation with my group. Leaving the Game 3 Once I get in the car, I may have to wait in line to get out of the parking lot. There may be traffic getting home. My group will drive home. The game was so much fun! I can’t wait to go again!
