CHAMPION’S LEAGUE SINGLES KO
RULES & REGULATIONS
This competition is for the 3 leading players in each division.
The places are determined by the total number of frames won during the season.
If there is a tie for the third place, the place will be decided by a best of 3 play-off.
If 3 or more players are tied for the third place, a round-robin competition will take place to determine the
third placed player. The round-robin will be best of 3 frames, with all frames being played, with the winner
being the winner of the most frames.
If this still does not define the third placed player, another best of 3 match will be played, between the tied
players, to determine the third placed player.
The top 3 players, from each division, then go into four groups of three players.
The 12 names go into an open draw.
The group matches are best of 3, WITH ALL 3 FRAMES BEING PLAYED.
Player 1 plays Player 2, then Player 2 plays Player 3, then Player 1 plays Player 3.
The group matches will all be played on one night.
The aim is to ensure no player plays at his home venue.
The winner of the group will be the player with the most points – 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a
loss, then if necessary, frame DIFFERENCE will determine the winner of the group.
In the event of 2 players still being tied, a 1 frame play-off will be played.
If there is a 3-way tie, there will be a round robin 1 frame play-off, between the 3 players, to determine the
group winner.
If this still does not establish a winner, a further 1 frame play-off will take place between the tied players.
The group winners then progress to the semi-final stage.
Group A winner vs Group D winner and Group B winner vs Group C winner.

The semi-finals will be best of 7 format.
The semi-finals and the final will be played at neutral venues.
The final will be the best of 9 format.
The group matches, semi-finals and final will be played on 3 successive weeks, on a Wednesday.
Trophies will be awarded to the winner and runner-up on the night of the Final.
