“For the Love of the Game”
The Double Angel complex is a reality. It benefits all the baseball kids of Douglas
County. As visitors enter the park they are greeted by a bigger-than-life size bronze of
Dillon and Logan Dixey, two brothers whose tragic death became the catalyst for this
project. The artist, Bobbie Carlyle, produced the bronzes. The first 30 bronzes funded the
ballpark version. Please consider joining our efforts to sponsor our bronze on display at
the Parker Library (#21), a piece of Parker Community Art for what is certain to be a
showcase for Parker and the surrounding county. In exchange you will receive your name
or the name of your business on a plaque with the bronze that will be on display at the New
Parker Library in Parker and also on the bronze at the Double Angel Ballpark that will be
a constant reminder of how important your participation is in your community.
