Band 4 - £19,027 - £22,236
Full Time, 35 hours per week
Southern Area Hospice Services is looking for an experienced, self-motivated and
dynamic person to join their Fundraising Team. This role involves working throughout
the Southern Board Area including Armagh and Dungannon to generate and maximize
revenue for Hospice services.
This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity that allows you to consistently bring
fresh and innovative ideas to your allocated geographical area. As well as having good
planning and organizational skills, you must be able to demonstrate excellent
communication, interpersonal and influencing skills that enable you to initiate, drive and
manage corporate partnerships and fundraising opportunities. You must have strong
commercial awareness and excellent experience of microsoft office and social media
tools.
A Degree (or equivalent) in Marketing with at least 1 years’ experience in a
marketing/fund-raising environment, or 3 years’ experience, with a track record of
achieving targets in a fast-paced environment and the confidence to make presentations
are essential.
You will need to be target driven, highly motivated, enthusiastic, with a ‘can-do’ attitude
and have the ability to stay focussed and positive in the face of setbacks. Pressure of
deadlines and targets means that a friendly disposition and a willingness to work
productively as a team member as well as on your own are critical to success in this role.
You must be flexible to work evenings and weekends when required. A full clean
driving license and access to a car are essential. CV’s will not be accepted.
