PORTVIEW ADVANCES
Sydnet- To everyone’s surprise, John “Lucky #7”
Madigan led his Portview high school team to
victory by scoring 38 points including sinking
seven free throws in last night’s game before a
sold-out crowd. Portview has been the
overlooked underdog in all polls, barely making it
to the State Tournament after squeaking by the
favored regional rival Consolidated. (cont’d pg. 14)
“Honestly, we’re just glad to be here at the
dance.”
