Voice of Hindsight
Use any online
resources
you’re told
about; great for
basic
knowledge and
wider reading.
Take time to go
through your
answers, and
talk to your
teachers to
make sure you
understand.
Go through
past papers and
mark schemes
and examiner’s
reports.
Make sure you
do all of the
homework you
are set and get
it in on time!!
Plan your
revision!
Colour code
your
plan!
Follow the
feedback you
are given;
teachers are
experts at how
to do well in
the exams.
Make lists of
key terms.
Learn to use
them, not
just recite
them.
Time yourself
closely when
practising,
and during
the real
thing.
Revision Plan
• Students should have some
revision plans/timetable as soon as
they can.
• Academic mentors and tutors can
help with completing these.
• Students should be making use of
the learning resource centre in both
learning communities during their
school based study periods.
Term Four
● In March, teaching
staff will again
review student
progress.
● This will be a review
of progress in light
of post-mock action
plans.
● Reports will be sent
home to you.

intentions for courses that they wish to
