Game Description





Lost Dungeon is a 3D Action-Roguelike Game.
The character wakes up in a mysterious sunken
temple with no memory of how they got there.
The player’s aim to explore and escape the
dungeon.
The game progresses room by room in a
randomly generated dungeon where certain tasks
are specific to certain characters.
Once the player wins or dies, a score is calculated
based on their treasure found/enemies defeated.
Built in XNA, 3D Modelling in 3DS Max.

In the first level, there are 10 different types of
enemies including traps (mimic boxes/barrels).
Enemies are designed to have a horror appeal to
fit the level design such as spiders, demons and
zombies.
Each enemy has different attack patterns.

The gameplay is designed around 3 character
classes – Warrior, Rogue and Engineer.
Warrior – Focus on fighting/action.
Rogue – Focus on platforming.
Engineer – Focus on puzzle solving.
Specific objects in the room will only be activated
if a certain character uses it.
Some rooms are more character specific however
all classes can fight.

The dungeon will be randomly generated over a
grid.
Rooms are a mixture of corridors and themed
puzzle rooms such as horror/fire.
The level is designed to accommodate each
character’s skillset.
